Foot To Fist Sports Medicine

ABOUT

Dr. Amir Mahajer earned his first dan black belt under Grandmaster Min Suk Song in 2002 and was recognized by Kukkiwon in 2004. From 2002 to 2006 he revitalized and served as president of the Martial Arts Club at Kennesaw State University, coaching taekwondo for the student body. His training also includes Hapkido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai, which he continued through the Mixed Martial Arts Club in medical school.

He is a member of USA Taekwondo and holds a World Taekwondo Global Official License. He is double board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, and fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine. He stands ringside when an event needs a physician who knows kyorugi and poomsae — and in clinic for the care the mat cannot finish.
